What is Gravity Storage?
Gravity storage is a way to store renewable energy (e.g. solar) from periods of production (sunny days) to periods of demand (e.g. night) when production is not possible.
Use the energy produced by the solar panels to lift a weight. The weight remains suspended as potential energy. When energy is needed, the weight is lowered turning a turbine producing electricity.
